Teban (手バン) is a hand movement where by you move your hand back and forth alternatively. However different bands may have different variations of doing it. The movement derived from headbang, for those who do not want/unable to headbang. Thus the word teban, te (手) for hand and ban (バン) from hedoban/headbang.
